Attempted Escape

Posted on November 12, 2009 at 6:20 PM Comments comments (0)

Max isn't being very patient, he continues to attempt to sneak out.  We'd like to hit 37 weeks ideally of course, but have 3 more weeks from that, and unless things change I don't think we will get that far.  So much to do tho!  Mega cleaning, painting...so many worries too.  Just feeling overwhelmed!

Mason is doing well.  Still hates the potty, however when I wasn't looking he used the potty, forgot to flush and left the lid up so thats how I found the evidence but he denies it was his!!!

*~Hi Again~*

A couple of weeks ago mama spent a couple days in the hospital.  Baby is still baking in the oven!!  No one can think of him as anyone else but "Max" but now mama is getting the prebaby jitters!!    We hope he hangs on until 36 weeks for us and that full bedrest doesn't happen AT LEAST until 35.

Mason is doing great!  He's heading off to trick or treat tonight as a fireman.  He's been hard at work, preparing for his brother, raking leaves and cleaning!

Otherwise everything else is going well, we are getting nervous and excited to welcome our second miracle!

Chilly Weekend!

Posted on October 11, 2009 at 6:40 PM Comments comments (0)

What a chilly weekend!  Mason was a helper as usual.  He was working hard at helping with firewood and cleaning.

No news to report, but I suppose no news is good news!

Next weekend is the baby shower, very excited!

PUMPKINS!

Posted on October 4, 2009 at 5:58 PM Comments comments (0)

Mason is having fun, its our favorite month.  He carved his first pumpkin-he drew the face and daddy cut it out :)

Baby seems to be doing well.  He has another weigh in on Tuesday but he's very active and mama is getting very big!

Been too long!

Posted on September 27, 2009 at 6:30 PM Comments comments (0)

It's been too long since we posted!!

Mason is doing great.  He finally learned how to pronounce "f" so now many words contain "f" even if they aren't supposed to, such as "fuffins and fittens"  :)

Tuesday is baby's 3d ultrasound, woo hoo!  And we are hitting the 3rd trimester, we are on the homestretch!!!

Summer really is saying so long as we welcome a cloudy 50 degree day tomorrow.  It's time!  Pumpkins, halloween decor!  Mason is going to be a FIREFIGHTER!!!   Yay!!!  He can't wait for Halloween!!

Love you all!

Day by Day

Posted on September 5, 2009 at 9:50 PM Comments comments (0)

Tuesday is baby's specialist appointment.  We've been working extremely hard on bulking him up and hope to see results!

Mason is doing great.  Still potty stubborn but used it a couple times on his own this week.  PLEASE get out of diapers Mason!! :)

Mason has been gearing up for fall, we love the fall!  We like to walk in the woods and look at the colors and play in the leaves.

We are also getting excited for the baby's 3D ultrasound, that's our next exciting goal for baby!

Baby..

Posted on August 30, 2009 at 6:16 PM Comments comments (0)

Friday was our appointment where we saw the baby has slipped into a lower percentile, where he lost about 5% in just 2 weeks.  I can't stop wondering what it is that I'm doing wrong but I can only pray that he will be strong..I have faith..

Mason talks about the baby a lot more.  He's excited to hold him.  He's still NOT excited for the potty...Will he ever learn??

Cool Weather!

Posted on August 22, 2009 at 8:46 PM Comments comments (0)

Finally some cool weather has arrived.  Below normal is good by me!  Feels nice to see sun but only 70ish.

Mason was a hard worked today, hauling branches, cleaning the kitchen, helping with laundry.

Friday we see how the baby is growing, fingers crossed that his weight is up!!

Mason's Outing

Posted on August 16, 2009 at 7:58 PM Comments comments (0)

Mason went mini golfing!  He did substantially better than mama!!  The folks there was surprised he stayed on task.  He was great minus a couple cheating occasions where he decided to just put the golf ball right next to the hole.

Friday afternoon, we got a call from the doctor that something is wrong.  They called right before they closed so its been a long weekend of wondering what is going on.  Calling right away in the morning.

Not much else is new.  Can't wait for this week when we lose some of this heat and humidity!

Ultrasound Day

Posted on August 11, 2009 at 7:52 PM Comments comments (0)

Today was our ultrasound appt.  We got there and the girl had written it down but never put it in the computer.  GRRR, Mason wanted pictures of his little brother.  Thursday should be the day!

Everything else is going well, too hot, can't wait for Mason's favorite season, FALL!

August already?!

Posted on August 4, 2009 at 2:58 PM Comments comments (0)

How did August manage to sneak in?  Wow time is flying.  Still feel like the pregnancy isn't but I'm sure he will be here before we know it!

Mason is doing great.  He's a big fan of baseball and has great friendships at daycare.  He has a few more parades this summer, which he really enjoys.  Soon it will be time to bring in and sell his pumpkins!

Baby Brother

Posted on July 19, 2009 at 9:57 PM Comments comments (0)

We couldn't be more excited to be having another boy.  I was a bit fearful of the girl side, and we were told we were having a girl.  I decided to get another ultrasound at the 3D place and it was very clear this is a baby boy!!  Mason is excited to have a "brudder" and even calls him what we INTEND to name him, which is subject to change.  But shhhhh, I'm trying to be tight lipped so its more exciting when he arrives!

I didn't realize how much things change and how much we need again.  The fact that we were told to give up after the news about the tumor..and parting with a bunch of baby stuff and the age gap..but thats fine! Its a small price to pay to add an addtion that we've hoped and prayed for.  He's perfectly healthy and growing well!

What are you doing?

Posted on July 5, 2009 at 6:12 PM Comments comments (0)

Mason has a new phrase, what are you doing?  Daddy, what are you doing to mama's car?  Daddy, what are you doing that for?  Mama, what are you doing, cookin?  It's cute now but I wonder how cute it will be after the next 300 times, haha.

Not much on the homefront, everything is breaking.  Home, car, you name it.  Isnt that what always happens when you are trying to get things in order and save a little extra?  lol

Happy July!

Posted on July 1, 2009 at 11:20 AM Comments comments (0)

Hi everyone, thanks for stopping by again.

Things are going well.  We are happy to see July roll around.  Nearly 15 weeks pregnant and going strong.  The fun is just around the corner!

Mason is doing well.  He loves daycare more now since he can play outside with his friends that he hates leaving at the end of the day!  Those innocent friendships are so nice to see.

Nothing new to report, that may be a good thing!

Summer Has Officially Arrived

Posted on June 23, 2009 at 9:42 PM Comments comments (0)

So Wisconsinites, we finally felt summer!  93-95 was it?  YUCK!  Is it fall yet?!

Mason jumped on the trampoline in the sprinkler and had a blast and kept cool with daddy.

Pregnancy and heat don't seem to go together well, so I prefer to be a hermit and stay in the cool house!

Mama's baby bump has arrived, feels wierd so early compared to last time and now it will grow and grow, hopefully not much until it cools off. :)

Waiting Game

Posted on June 12, 2009 at 8:24 PM Comments comments (0)

Not much is new, same old waiting game, waiting to find out the gender of our munchkin!

Mason is keeping the summer fun and full of love.

Already it's mid June and we haven't had much summer weather, Mason is wanting to go swimming!

Not much to report.  Hope you are all off to a great start to the summer!

Update

Posted on June 1, 2009 at 4:18 PM Comments comments (0)

Today we saw our little bean for the first time.  I tend to say she, but of course we don't know what the gender is, far too early for that.  Baby is measuring very small but so did Mason.  Everything is great and she likes to dance around and sleep upside down.  :)Finding out early is what has made this first trimester drag!  Part of trying for so long means chances are you will test immediately at the first inclination.  However, waiting is no issue now that we have come this far.

Otherwise not much else is new.  We'd like to see more visitors communicating on the guest book, partly our fault for not sharing this website too much yet!!

Already?

Posted on May 25, 2009 at 9:46 AM Comments comments (0)

Tomorrow is already Mason's 3rd birthday!  Wow!  Mr. Independent isn't all that excited, however he did know the mixer meant MIMI'S CAKE!!!

He did get his trampoline!  Daddy and Mason just love it and they have a lot of fun together, just as suspected, Mama is a bit whiny being sidelined!

Daycare is great for Mason.  It's a private location in a wooded area, where Mason of course found the ragweed, but the rash is getting much better.

Work for us is good.  Thankful to keep our jobs in these tough times!  Saving for the baby makes us nickel and dime more but we will be thankful when the stress and worry is less and the joy and excitement has arrived.

Any predictions?  Boy or girl?  Another boy would mean they can share the TONS of toys, can use some of the clothes from Mason and even later share Mason's bunkbed.  PINK..thats just scary!!!  We'd welcome a beautiful little girl into our lives without any doubt, but not without fear!  The road with a boy has been dirt, trucks, baseball caps, sports, trains...to cross over to bows in her hair, dolls, painted nails-may be a difficult transition!  The official due date confirmation will be up next weekend, so be sure to look for that.  Tuesday we are at 10 weeks at least, putting us right before Christmas.  We are thinking thats the right date but the doctors are thinking we may be a bit farther, so our appointment will tell.

For the friends that visit, don't be afraid to suggest baby names!!  masondouglasbeck@yahoo.com

Love you all!

New Talent

Posted on May 12, 2009 at 5:07 PM Comments comments (0)

So Mason has discovered a love and talent for the TRAMPOLINE!  As you can tell from the pictures on the Photo Gallery that we just posted.  Mason enjoys it and so does Daddy.  Do we see one of these in the near future?  Hmmm...

Mason's main activities are:

Being outdoors

Sandbox

Trampoline

Riding his bike

Pulling his wagon

Cutting the grass

Riding the 4 wheeler

For those cold or rainy days

Trucks

Bikes

Semi's

Music

His main phrases:

Daddy at work.

Daddy got da keys to da wide.

Daddy put wide away.

Mama gots da keys.

Mimi put da wide away.

As you can tell, its all about the ride!!!
